Please take the time to read what I have to say about someone I’ve never met in person and I’ll never get the chance to because of the awful disease that is lung cancer. The very word frightens me to the core.

Me and Dan started emailing each other at the turn of the year and he confided in me about what was going on in his life, the tests, then the cancer and then the great news that Debbie was expecting! The news about the baby really excited him, he told me and was the perfect reason to fight on and beat this cancer.

We then came up with the football donation league which he took onto himself and smashed it by getting so many people to sponsor me from teams all over the country. Now, I thought that it had run it course and I’d rap it up and move on but I’m sure Dan wouldn’t want that, as I know how passionate he was for this to succeed. So I’m raising the bar and asking all football fans to dig deep and support the cure for this awful cancer.

Dan you will be missed by me and I’ll never forget how you have helped me with what I’m trying to do. You had faith in me and I’ll repay this by hitting the 90k and help save peoples life. I won’t let you down God bless you my friend and goodnight.
